How do I turn the heating on?

Drift House has central heating throughout the property. During colder months, the heating is programmed to maintain a comfortable temperature.

If you'd like the heating adjusted, please let us know. 

Is hot water always available?

Yes.

Hot water is available throughout the day in every bathroom and the kitchen.

The radiator isn't warm.

The heating may currently be outside its programmed schedule.

Please allow a little time. If you think there's a problem, contact us and we'll be happy to help.

The TV won't connect to the internet.

Where is the Wi-Fi password?

You'll find it:

• on the QR code displayed inside the house

The Wi-Fi isn't working.

First try restarting your phone or device.

If several devices have lost connection, please contact us.

Yes.

Two travel cots are available.

Please bring your own cot bedding.

Is a high chair provided?

Yes.

Two high chairs are available.

Are children's plates available?

Sorry, not at the moment.

Are there games?

Yes.

Nintendo Switch 2,  family board games and garden games are available.

Are dogs allowed?

Up to two well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.

Can dogs go upstairs?

Sorry, no.

Please keep dogs downstairs only and off the furniture.

Can dogs be left alone?

No.

Please don't leave dogs unattended inside the property.

Is parking guaranteed?

On-street parking is free at front and on surrounding residential streets.

Although spaces are usually available nearby, they cannot be guaranteed during particularly busy periods.

Can taxis find the property easily?

Yes. Drift House is located on a normal residential road and is easily accessible by taxi.

Simply provide the property address when booking, and drivers should have no difficulty finding it.

How far is the beach?

Greenhill Beach is around a 10–15 minute walk.

Weymouth Beach and the harbour are a little further and easily reached on foot.

Is there a supermarket nearby?

Yes.

Several supermarkets are just a short drive away, with convenience stores also within easy walking distance.

Good to know

A Tesco Express, pub, bakery, post office and takeaway are all within a short walk, making it easy to pick up essentials during your stay.

Is there a dishwasher?

Yes.

Dishwasher tablets are provided for your stay.

Is there a coffee machine?

Yes.

A Dolce Gusto coffee machine is available.

A small welcome supply of coffee pods is provided.

Is there a washing machine?

Yes.

A washer-dryer is available as well as a retractable washing line in the courtyard for natural drying

Is there an air fryer?

Yes.

An Instant Gourmet Air Fryer is available.

🛒 Can I arrange a grocery delivery?

Yes. You're welcome to arrange grocery deliveries directly with your preferred supermarket.

For the best experience, we recommend scheduling deliveries after you've checked in, as we're unable to accept deliveries before your arrival.

Several major supermarkets are only a short drive away, with convenience stores also within easy walking distance.

Can we smoke or vape?

No.

Drift House is a completely non-smoking and non-vaping property.

Can we light candles?

Sorry, no.

For safety reasons, candles and naked flames are not permitted.

Can we have extra visitors?

Only the guests included in the booking may stay overnight.

Please contact us first if you wish to invite daytime visitors.

What do we need to do before checking out?

Before you leave, please:

✓ Return all keys to the key safe.

✓ Wash any used dishes or load the dishwasher.

✓ Place rubbish and recycling in the correct bins.

✓ Close all windows.

✓ Switch off lights.

✓ Lock all doors.

🏖️ Do you provide beach towels?

No. Please bring your own beach towels if you're planning a day by the sea.

Bath towels are provided for use inside the property only and should not be taken to the beach.

🔥 Is there a BBQ?

No. Drift House does not currently provide a barbecue.

This helps us maintain the property safely and ensures an enjoyable experience for all guests.

🚲 Can I store bicycles securely?

Yes. You're welcome to store bicycles in the private enclosed courtyard during your stay.

Please bring your own bicycle lock, as bicycles are left at your own risk.

🔌 Where can I charge my phone or devices?

Standard UK power sockets are available throughout the property.

Please bring your own charging cable and plug suitable for your device.

📦 Can I have parcels delivered during my stay?

Yes, you're welcome to receive parcels during your stay.

Please ensure deliveries are scheduled within your booking dates, and collect all items before departure.
